Day 9 - Golf
Today, it was another day of practise for the balloons. This time there were more though.
After watching the balloons, we had nothing to do. There were no more day trips to do and no more museums to visit. We were bored. Then, at lunch, Mum looked over the road and, Voila!, there was a 9-hole golf course right there. We had no idea how we had not seen it. Me and Dad went and asked if the golf course was open and if they let kids play. Turned out they did, and kids only cost $3! Apparently, there was also an Easter egg hunt at 5 PM, and a raffle and lolly guessing at 8 PM. We played hole 1, for about 1 hr (that's how long it took us!), then skipped to hole 7, and played that half-way through, and then it was time for the Easter egg hunt. Me and Niklas found 10 eggs each, which meant that we had the most out of everyone and got a chocolate Easter bunny each. Then, at 8 PM, the raffle was drawn, but we hadn't won. And we hadn't guessed the lollies correctly either.
But, from a boring day, a great day grew. And that's all that matters!
