Day 2 - The Festival Begins

Today, at 11:00 AM, the End Festival began. A stage had been set up, and a constant stream of soloists, duets, and trios kept the music-lovers entertained. There were also stalls selling local honey, homemade relishes and jams, goats-milk cheeses, Swiss pastries and squeezed lemonade. There were wooden-sword-making stalls, belt-making stalls and Bee-Hotel-making stalls (Is that even a thing???). There was a free art workshop for kids, with clay, watercolours, and fabric spray-painting. All in all, there was something for everyone. There was also pizza, pancakes, gelato, and many other foods.
Naturally, the first thing on my list was pizza. Then, after having completed that, I wandered around a bit to the art workshop. There I spray-painted a cotton bag and left it to dry.
Later, around 1:30 PM, we took to the roads with our gold pan to try or luck. Unfortunately, we had no idea how to pan for gold. So it was indeed lucky that we met a man called Jope who could tell you how to pan for gold, give you some dirt, and provide the vials for the gold, and all for only $30! So we happily panned 4 shovelfuls of dirt, and found about $30 worth in gold each.
